Biblical Nsight: The greatest miracle of all times when Jesus conquered the grave and rose again leaving death and the grave with no hold on us that receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus and what He has done. But, Jesus did not just give us a gift of eternal life that we need to hold onto until we die and then enter into it. He gave us His Spirit to abide within us to have resurrection life now as we live right here in Bozeman, MT. We are told in Rom 8:11a…the Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from death, lives in you. So please, live your a life worthy of the Spirit who is in you who raised Jesus from the dead and wants to flow from you to the world around us. WOW…that’s awesome!

Well you made it through the first week and a half and I bet you discovered that it was not as freaky as you thought. It really is just more of the same except you are the one totally responsible for yourself. No one will call your momma if you miss class and no one will take you car keys if you stay out to late on a Tuesday night. A few things to consider…
1) READ through the entire syllabus for each class…it could save your neck!
2) GO TO CLASS everyday…this is appox. 60% of your academic success!
3) PLAN SOMETHING FUN…reward your good study habits with a good time away from campus!
Speaking of FUN…

Hopefully you have gotten settled into your dorm, you have your posters hung, your shower flip-flops and have at least found the library and the SUB. Chi Alpha (XA) is very excited to welcome you to MSU and to a whole new adventure in life. The college years are always full of fun, stress, test, papers, road trips, etc.
Sunday night XA will be invading the MSU dorms taking fresh baked cookies and donuts to every person on campus that signed up with us at Catapalooza! If you are lucky enough to be in your room on Sunday night you will have some extra calories to jump start your freshmen 15! We take these goody bags to campus to simply let you know that we understand the transition from home to MSU and we want to help you as best we can along the way. One great way to make your college experience richer is to get plug in with a group like XA Christian Fellowship. We host PARADIGM 755 every Tuesday night at 7:55pm at the XA House, located at 1212 So. 6th on the east side of campus across from Roberts Hall(engineering). PARADIGM 755 is our large group worship meeting and everyone is welcome, no matter the background or religious convictions. We also have small groups every Monday, Weds & Thursday.

What Happened to Summer?
I can’t believe that the dorms open and Catapalooza starts tomorrow…! I was really looking forward to having a nice long summer vacation. Actually, I am very excited for everything to start back up again. It is going to be one of the best years in recent Chi(X) Alpha(A) history. One for the greatest needs for today’s college student is a place to fit. At XA we want you to know that wherever you are on your spiritual journey, there is a place for you here. We have dozens of ways to get plug in like…Bible studies, bonfires, hikes, retreats, game nights, white water rafting, BBQ’s, sand volleyball, Paradigm 755 and much, much, more.
Chi Alpha is NOT a fraternity or sorority. We are a Christian group on MSU campus dedicated to seeing students grow in their relationship with Christ. We have a house located at 1212 So. 6th St. directly across the street from Roberts Hall on the east side of MSU campus…You are always welcome here!
This Friday night we are hosting our Volleyball & BBQ back to school event…please come and bring a friend for free burgers and lots of fun. It all starts at 7pm on Fri, Aug 28th. See you there!
Who we are
Chi Alphans are college students committed to seeking the face of God. We desire to know God and make Him known at Montana State University. We meet at the Chi Alpha House located across the street Roberts Hall on the east side of campus. Our main meeting is called Paradigm 755 and is charged with music, given to humor and challenging with a relevant message from the Bible. We also have many small groups throughout the week that gather many places on MSU campus. All of our meetings are opportunities for students to meet God, each other, and the needs of the community.
Our name
Even though our name suggests it we are NOT a fraternity or a sorority.
Our name comes from the Bible. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20, We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. Inspired by this verse we chose the phrase "christou apostoloi," meaning "Christ's sent ones," to represent who we are. The Greek letters Chi(X) and Alpha(A) are the initials of this phrase, which reminds us that we should live to reflect Jesus' life.
Mission
Our mission is simple: we desire to reconcile students to Christ, to transform our university and then send those students out to transform the marketplace and the world!
We do this by creating a true community of worship, prayer, discipleship, and evangelism/mission. We value Integrity, Servant Leadership, Excellence, Community, Diversity, and Creativity.
Ministries
There are several ways for you to get involved in Chi Alpha. We have ladies, men’s and co-ed Bible studies, worship with drama and music, campus and community evangelism, weekend outreaches, Bible classes taught by XA staff, seminars, conferences, mission trips, retreats, international student friendship, and so much more.
