THE MOST EXCITING WEEKEND OF ALL…

Well, it is finally here, Chi Alpha Fall Retreat weekend.  This is the weekend that sets the pace, raises the bar and unites the lives of students year after year.  We depart from the XA house at 4pm on Friday, Sept 21st, for a road-trip to Camp on the Boulder in McLeod, MT.  If the roadie still isn’t enough than you won’t be disappointed, XA Fall Retreat has it all!  Your $59 registration provides food, lodging, retreat fees, snacks and more.  If you are new to MSU we even give you a $10 scholorship.  There is only one catch, you must register by Tuesday to get the scholorship and to get the $59 price, after that Retreat cost is $64 for everyone and no scholorships.

You will need your Bible, notebook, pen, play/work clothes, warm clothes, your favorite board game, bedding(or sleeping bag),pillow, toiletries, swimsuit(for baptisms), flashlight, etc.  If you have a digital camera, bring your downloading cord so we can get your pix before you leave for this website.  We all need to be at the camp by 7pm on Friday and we will be heading back to Bozeman by 1pm on Sunday….with plenty of time to study;)  If you have registration questions email Michelle at xa.michelle@gmail.com.

GO CATS!

Who we are

Chi Alphans are simply college students commited to seeking the face of God. We desire to know God and make Him known at Montana State University. We meet in the new Chi Alpha House located right across the street from campus. These meetings are opportunities for students to meet God, each other, and the needs of the community.

Our name

Even though our name suggests it we are not a fraternity or a sorority.

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20, "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." Inspired by this verse we chose the phrase "christou apostoloi," meaning "Christ's sent ones," to represent who we are. The Greek letters Chi (X) and Alpha (A) are the initials of this phrase, which reminds us that we should live to reflect Jesus' life.

Mission

Our mission is simple: we desire to reconcile students to Christ, to transform our university and then send those students out to transform the world!

We do this by worship, prayer, discipleship, evangelism, and mission. We value Integrity, Servant Leadership, Excellence, Community, Diversity, and Creativity.

Ministries

There are several ways for you to get involved in Chi Alpha. We have girls and guys bible studies, worship with drama and music, dollar dinner friday, mission trips, retreats, international student friendship, and so much more.
