The purpose of XA is to help MSU students love God and love people…so we offer seminars, retreats, XA classes, small groups, etc. to give unparalleled opportunity for you to grow in knowledge and truth. Blood Covenant is a powerful time of discovery in all that Jesus has done for us by His finished work on the cross. It will blow your mind and expand your heart with the deep biblical truths of God as a covenant God even when we are NOT a covenant people. Another weekend experience is the upcoming Worship Weekend Retreat…you will be challenged in true worship and surrender, as well as encouraged with revelation about your God given spiritual authority. You won’t wont to miss it. Finally, we have our DxD(discipleship by design) class. DxD is a 5 week class that explores what Jesus said about “Therefore go and make disciples”. It is really a class that reveals how to partner with God in serving to bring about personal growth and a community impact. DxD is capped off with a very fun, challenging, weekend get away that is one of my favorite times of the year. Check out below for more info about all that is happening and check out the calender page too.

Who we are
Chi Alphans are college students committed to seeking the face of God. We desire to know God and make Him known at Montana State University. We meet at the Chi Alpha House located across the street Roberts Hall on the east side of campus. Our main meeting is called Paradigm 755 and is charged with music, given to humor and challenging with a relevant message from the Bible. We also have many small groups throughout the week that gather many places on MSU campus. All of our meetings are opportunities for students to meet God, each other, and the needs of the community.
Our name
Even though our name suggests it we are NOT a fraternity or a sorority.
Our name comes from the Bible. The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20, We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God. Inspired by this verse we chose the phrase "christou apostoloi," meaning "Christ's sent ones," to represent who we are. The Greek letters Chi(X) and Alpha(A) are the initials of this phrase, which reminds us that we should live to reflect Jesus' life.
Mission
Our mission is simple: we desire to reconcile students to Christ, to transform our university and then send those students out to transform the marketplace and the world!
We do this by creating a true community of worship, prayer, discipleship, and evangelism/mission. We value Integrity, Servant Leadership, Excellence, Community, Diversity, and Creativity.
Ministries
There are several ways for you to get involved in Chi Alpha. We have ladies, men’s and co-ed Bible studies, worship with drama and music, campus and community evangelism, weekend outreaches, Bible classes taught by XA staff, seminars, conferences, mission trips, retreats, international student friendship, and so much more.
